9 Month checkup

We had a lot of fun walking around the Thanksgiving Point gardens at the Tulip Festival.  
Daphne liked examining (and almost tasting!) the flowers.  I love this one.
I love her smile in this one with all the flowers around and on her jacket.

Daphne is cruising around the furniture and loves following me around the house.  She was able to crawl up the stairs last Sunday and that was a fun moment for us.  She also went into bigger diapers, which makes me realize how big she's getting, and also makes me a little sad on how fast she's grown.  

Other than Daphne's rapid growth, there isn't much to say about us.  We are building boxes for our square foot garden and getting soil for it tomorrow.  We plan to plant lots of stuff and then herbs in pots also.  We want rasberries, corn, strawberries, pumpkins, squash, and whatever else there is room for. We are also starting a compost pile.  We just got a cement patio poured and we now enjoy sitting out and enjoying the backyard.  And we hope to be able to put in the rest of our fence, but we're not sure.  Every year we finish a little bit.  Someday we'll finish the whole backyard, and then the dogs won't be able to walk sneakily around the fence into the neighbor's yard!
