Christmas in review

We don't have too many pictures from Christmas because we usually break out the video camera Christmas morning and film the family memories. Daphne loved Christmas this year, but I think it was pretty overwhelming. She could definitely feel the excitement in the air, but little girls still need nap time, and that was a hard thing when we were gone visiting family all day for 2 days. On Christmas morning, she had a great time opening her first present, and then was content enough just to play with that. We had a hard time getting her to open presents because she just wanted to sit down and play with what she had, so we saved a few presents for the next day and she happily ripped open all of those after she had been well napped.

Daphne got a Fisher-Price farm, a chair with a storybook attached, a bilingual car, some bracelets and necklaces, and clothes from us. Grandparents spoiled her with a farm animal dvd, Minnie Mouse stuff, and a magnet-doodle.

Ryan got clothes, a snow shovel, a corded drill, drill bits, a new golf bag, and a new router. And a snuggie.

Audrey got clothes, a large thermos, a snuggie, a Cricut machine, and a couple new kitchen knives and other kitchen stuff.

Our family got some new games and a portable dvd player for car trips.

We had an AWESOME Christmas and can't wait again for it next year when Daphne will be even older and wiser to Santa and the present thing!
We visited Candlelight Christmas at 'This is the Place' state park.
Daphne was a shepherd in the annual nativity at Grandma's house.

P.S. Our name for girl baby is PHOEBE BRIGHTON. Goes well with Daphne Alta, right? :)
