Daphne's lovey is an orange kitty she got for her first Christmas. It's name is "ki-yee" and she carries him everywhere. Since he is so loved and "real" (see
The Velveteen Rabbit), we thought that getting a back-up Kitty was necessary just in case. We finally found one on the internet, and bought it recently. So our plan is to switch them out occasionally and try and get them to the similar point of wear and tear. But you can see that is a long time away from the new bright kitty on the left with white paws to the dingy kitty on the right with gray paws. Daphne is so cute with Kitty, we love it!
