The box on the left has corn on the left, then tomatoes, artichoke, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce, and beans. The tomatoes are getting huge and I think we are going to have a million of them. So we are looking into canning our own fresh salsa and spaghetti sauce so we can be able to use it all. On the right box, we have strawberries to the right (which have plenty room to grow and spread), rasberries, and grapes. In the corner you can't see, we have a pumpkin growing. I am way excited for fresh strawberries and yummy rasberries to make jam and smoothies. We also got our clothesline outside today so we will be able to save electricity by hanging our clothes (not underwear) outside to dry on nice days.
This is our box of carrots, cantelope and watermelon. That's our apple tree to the right (which will hopefully produce apples next year) and our compost bin to the left. We've been composting a lot of our food scraps (like banana peels, corn cobs, egg shells, etc) and we've got a good amount composting now. It will be sweet next year to be able to use it to fertilize our garden.
Ryan's brother Scooter and wife Michelle had a baby boy on June 15. His name is Logan and he was so tiny compared to Daphne. It's fun to have more cousins for Daphne.
We went to the Scottish Festival on June 12. We watched the big guys throw rolling pins and weights, walked around, and enjoyed music by Molly's Revenge.
There were lots of thunderstorms in June that make Poley really scared--he had a tramatized puppyhood when we got him, so he freaks out over a lot of things. Good thing Socrates is here to comfort him. Poor Poley.
Ryan and I went to Park City for an overnighter, and visited the Olympic Park. The tour they have takes you to the top of the bobsled run and the ski jump.
At Great Basin park, we toured Lehman Caves, which turned out to be really fascinating.
Memorial Day we went to Great Basin National Park. It's a small park, but it was fun and cheap!

Good thing Poley has a little brother! He may be annoying sometimes but he's nice to have when you are scared!
Looks like a fun filled summer! I love your garden... Next year I want one like yours!
